Candle Making Process

Aromatherapy candle making begins by preparing the mold. You can anchor your which by threading it through a hole in the bottom of your mold. Seal the hole with putty. If you are using a jar, anchor it with a metal which anchor
and you can place a tiny amount of wax or glue on the bottom to keep it in place. To keep the wick from moving while pouring your wax, wrap it around a pencil and balance the pencil on top of the mold.

Use the double boiler to melt the wax you are using. The wax should not be allowed to reach a temperature higher than 180 degrees. If you want to color your candle, shave off pieces of crayons and add this to the wax while it is melting. Avoid using too much crayons, or your candle will smell like crayons. You can also use dyes to color your candles, but using crayons is a great use of those broken crayons every household seems to have lying around.
