Fragrance oils

Fragrance oils refer to blends of oil with natural / synthetic fragrances or just synthetic fragrances. Fragrance oils are also known as aroma oils, aromatic oils and flavor oils. They are combinations of artificial chemicals to reflect the aroma of natural materials. At times, small amounts of true plant oils are also used to enhance the aroma of the fragrance oils. They are also sometimes diluted with carrier oils but they do not offer the therapeutic benefits offered by the essential oils. They are mostly used in making soaps, products, candles, lotions, bath bombs and much more.

They are also very cost effective. They are widely used because they are very cheap than the pure essential oils. But they cause lots of adverse effects if used in cosmetics or toiletries. There are more than 5, 000 raw ingredients available to choose for making a fragrance oil. The consumers are often deceived because some of the fragrance oils are sold in the name of essential oils.
